Police just did their little photo op for the press with protesters here, then on the scanners many have reported that their body cams “died”

My buddy's little brother just barely graduated from the Police Academy in Phoenix. He immediately was sent to help with the riots. My friend has been so scared for him... BUT check this out!

That's my friend's brother right there kneeling! So proud!

My buddy talked to his brother on the phone earlier today. The chief of police (the only other officer who knelt) awarded him a commendation for his act in trying to create peace. Other officers there were yelling at him to get up after he knelt. He said "it's crazy that I got an award for doing what I am supposed to be doing..."
