I just caught up on all of the news from today. So much to take in. I don’t know how Trump is able to sleep at night.

 

Can't find anything on google, but in a news subreddit someone saw on a RI stream that a shoe store was on fire with someone trapped in an apartment above it

Gunshots reported in Cap Hill (same area the cops instigated the riot in my posts above). Apparently they came from a car. Unclear at this point who the car was targeting but regardless its not good for nerves or tensions

 

I heard them from my apartment. Terrifying.

 

yeah I'm a bit removed from the action now so haven't heard anything yet but my friend lives right in that area too and I've been talking to him about it

Has the American mainstream media ever been so cognizant of rampant police violence as they have been this past week? I can’t count the number of videos I’ve seen on live tv where journalists have been directly confronted with the naked aggression on display here

Haven't managed to keep up with this thread the last few days, it's all moving so fast. Been following everything on Twitter though. All I want to say is I stand in solidarity with all of you fighting for justice and goodness. Donated to a couple of bail funds and I'm hoping to get to a BLM rally being held in my local city at the weekend. Wish there was more I could actively do here in England, and if anyone knows of any other ways I can get involved then let me know.
