Watched Thirst today and really really loved it.

 

Yesterday I watched The Night Eats The World on prime cause the poster caught my eye, and I liked it! It's a zombie movie but not much zombie action. It's mostly focused on the main characters spiral and descent into loneliness and depression. It wasn't extremely groundbreaking but it was different than the common zombie format I'm used to

 

I definitely like Alien more than Aliens. Love both though.

 

Reminds me of the As Above So Below poster

 

I know people out there act like the original is a better movie but imo, the added stuff adds context to things and it feels fuller as a story. Just my two cents on it though

 

Fwiw I stan most of the Alien movies. Sure, AVP might not be as deep as Alien 3, but I think there's something to get out of each of them aside from AVP Requiem.

 

Pretty sure AVP was the first Alien or Predator movie I ever watched lol

 

My girlfriend said "Those were okay, but I think I like AVP more."

lol what am I doing.

 

that’s my preference on the director’s cut. Ripley’s arc as a maternal protector of Newt is much stronger after the reveal in the beginning of the movie

 

It was PG-13, so I think this was true for me, too lol

im still not sure if i like it or not

 

I remember thinking it was ok, but I can't remember too much about it admittedly.

 

also this is the only AVP that matters

 

Is this the stuff about Ripley's daughter? I'm glad that exists because it gave us Isolation.

 

I just realized I haven't seen anything Predator related

 

the first one is essential

 

I'll try and check it out this weekend. I'm not sure how that entire franchise never made it into my life, ha.

 

it's awesome. most people hate Predator 2 (I like it) and Predators is pretty good but other than that you can go ahead and skip everything else

 

is Predators the latest one? i havent seen that. and now i might depending if it’s on anywhere haha

 

No wait Predators is the one with Topher Grace. I’ve seen that.

 

nah, it's from 2010. haven't heard a single positive thing about the new one

Loathed The Predator. It felt like such a swing and a miss.

Count me a fan of Predator 2. It takes the DNA of the first one and completely sequelizes it to bits in the best and most ridiculous ways.
