This sweet beer was unbearable so I put a drop of Insanity Sauce in there and I'll count it as an improvement

 

Tbf though Us isn’t good like come on haha. Get Out was brilliant but Us was so underwhelming...was genuinely gutted as I wanted that film to be incredible after Get Out.

 

Us was great, but following up Get Out was always going to be difficult

 

Loved both movies and it's impossible not to love Lupita in Us

Get Out is better but both are great

I didn't like Us, I think I turned it off 3 quarters of the way through and looked up the ending after, or I just fast forwarded through honestly don't remember.

 

Us was good the ending just doesn't make sense and it didn't need a twist

 

The twist at the end isn't my favorite

But if you turned it off before the ballet fight you deserve the electric chair

 

I legit just didn’t think it was any different to any of the hundreds of other horror films that I’ve seen.

 

I’ll concede and say that fight was excellent but as a whole? Goddamn again, the acting was painful to me. Everything felt so forced and wooden...and yet also somehow like a complete caricature. Plus I couldn’t take the voices seriously, which kind of killed any scare factor or whatever.

 

I watched Ready or Not a couple days ago and surprisingly loved it (normally not big on that genre).

speaking of horror films I watched Terrorizer on Netflix last night and it was fucking truly awful but also brutal af

Ordered DoorDash for dinner tonight, I think the driver was pretty new and/or didn’t fully know how to use it or the directions. He was at the restaurant and called me to give him the directions to my house?? (Even though I thought it shows my home on whatever map they use?).

so I text him the address, I see he’s driving toward my home yet the app says he’s still at the restaurant, dude literally circles the neighborhoods AROUND my place and I even send him a pin drop where I’m at after I realize he’s driving around aimlessly it seems. In the description of the order I put contactless delivery “ring the doorbell and leave at doorstep,” so he finally gets here (like an hour and fifteen minutes later, when delivery said 35 minutes after placing order) he was nice though and apologized for the delay but sadly the food was lukewarm. Still decent though

now like five hours later I get an update from the app and an email saying my order was canceled and I’m being refunded?? So I’m not sure if it is being refunded because of the delay, or if the dude just didn’t close out the delivery and timed out? Kinda confused and not sure if I have to contact DoorDash, I don’t want to leave the driver out the tip I left if he accidentally forgot to close the order especially now.

 

Had a similar experience with Uber Eats. Except in addition to the delay I got given the wrong order from the wrong restaurant twice in the space of three hours and was then given not one, not two, but three refunds for the same order...I contacted customer service but after a lot of back and forth and apologies from them, they said there wasn’t much else they could do but just close the case. Appreciated the initial refund but the other two were odd. Felt like someone was gonna get stung for it and it still bothers me to this day haha.

 

i once had a driver go back to the restaurant after they didn't give her the whole order. I tried to stop them, but they wouldn't listen.
