There is a weird and fairly large contingent of Steelers fans who think Rudolph is going to be good and thought he showed a lot of promise last year.

 

I do not think he’s our future starter. But I bet he’s our backup for years to come.

 

A lot of what we saw from Mason Rudolph last year looked exactly like the 1 Oklahoma State game of his I watched that made me wonder why people had him as a high round prospect haha

 

I watched footage after the season that kinda made me get it but that 1 game was rough

I lost to Randall in the Super Bowl mainly off a really fluky PR TD and it kinda soured me on the game altogether hahaha

Like I know what I NEED to do to beat him but it's also just not any fun so after that I went back to playing how I normally play and lost 21-14 cuz I couldn't drive at all

Every time we play in the Super Bowl it's like 1 or 2 plays that could've easily broken the other way, but since they didn't I lose and I'm kinda just done losing all the time

 

I'm 3-2. Matt Griffin the QB finally had a really good game. But Chandler Jones is out

On the bright side we did our NBA2K draft and my team is starting to mesh pretty well, will prob take some time to get used to (especially since the teams across the league are pretty balanced) but should be good

I missed Tracy McGrady by one pick. And I am still salty about it.

I felt that I had to take Giannis in the first round but looking back, at least for 2K video games, I’m better at offense if I have a very good guard who can slash through the defense. And guards came off the board faster than big men. So in terms of scarcity TMac might have made my team more my style.

Giannis / AD is sick but I might have preferred just one of those guys and Tracy.

 

It was a close game, you still almost tied it up. Madden could’ve given you that TD on 4th and 18, your receiver was in front of my guys and he touched the ball first.

 

If I could do this league over again I would have just loaded up my offense. I can't do anything with a rookie create a player QB and my most reliable receiver being vernon davis. I tried to make balanced oline and dline but who cares if you score 40+ points a game.

 

Sure, take $55m, non-guaranteed in that 5th year. You'll be finding a new team in four.

 

Your rookie will get better and it’ll get easier to play. Madden definitely turns up the difficulty on QBs rated kinda low just to try to make it more realistic. It definitely forces you to throw short passes / take what the defense gives you for awhile.

You might be regretting having a balanced OL and DL in year one but it definitely is the right path to keep your team stable. You won’t regret it next season / two seasons from now when teams pass rush gets better and better, and opposing QBs start having elite games when you don’t pressure them.

Just focus on getting good at running the ball, using motion / audibles / different packages to make the LOS unpredictable. My best advice for playing RB in this game is, unless someone is already chasing you by the time of the handoff? Don’t sprint right away. You have a lot more control with taking precise angles and following lead blockers, and also fooling defenders to shoot the wrong gap, if you go slow TO the hole and then burst once you see daylight.

 

I actually love a player taking the escalating approach. Take the deal at $35mil/yr, but include an opt out if you fall out of the top 5 highest paid QBs or below a certain percentage of the cap.
