would go audio technica on the turntable, the one I have is the AT-LP120 but you can get a few for $100 or around there, and for my small-ish living room, i have like a $60 pair of like external computer speakers that go direct in to the turntable, sounds fantastic and no need for pre-amp or anything.

Uturn or ATLP120. Denon if it’s on sale. If you already have a stereo with phono input then look for used vintage speakers on your local craigslist. If you’re just trying to run the turntable direct to powered speakers than anything within budget is gonna be fine at that point you won’t be able to hear a major difference
