Time to get this on my local files in spotify so I don’t have to manually transition each song haha

  4. Frail State Of Mind is so cool. I don't think I had heard that one yet. Very reminiscent of old school 2step stuff, but with electronica flourishes.

They need to talk to thrice about putting out an elemental release so they can put all their lil styles in a cute lil box to be opened separately at the right moment in time lol

I still think it’s my favorite on here. One of all time faves from them now for sure

Struggling to get past how much 'Roadkill' sounds like a Pinegrove song. I don't hate it, but it's distracting.

  9. Only 20 secs in and Yeah I Know is already an early favorite. More of that Petrichor vibe!!

  13. Idk if it makes sense, but despite all the talk about this one being a night time record (is it what they said?), it sounds like an early morning -watching the sun rises- listen to me right now.

So far there's a recurrent key in the songs that makes me think all of this. Not to bring synesthesia into it, but I associate that key with a color and a time of the day or even season... I sound weird, goodbye.

Very curious as to how you’re dealing with the move to online learning. Is your school not providing materials for you to teach?

It honestly feels like one of their quickest. The songs are very quick and light.

  24. It's that D Major / A Major thing, that I associate with light blue. I'm used to hear those keys in emo, so I wonder if The 1975 tapped into those influences during the writing process this time.

Yeah. My first listens are with coffee, in bed, starting at 430 am and the sun rising, with my new puppy sleeping on my lap and my gf sleeping to left of me. Really highlights my fandom, but also how far I’ve come and grown since I started listening to this band.
