I don’t think the people who are claiming they care about jobs and the economy and small businesses realize how much they’re telling on themselves when they also say “well the rest of you can stay home if you want!”

Ah yes, nothing is gonna bring those jobs back faster than 50-70% of the customer base staying home.

All these articles that are like “Biden is 100% gonna win” are just making me more paranoid the he’s gonna lose.

 

Everything that could go to shit has gone to shit the last 4 years so I’ll believe it when I see it.

 

tbf that’s scrambling what he’s trying to say at least to a small degree. He’s basically saying we’re gonna produce these vaccines now even if they’re not proven safe and effective yet because if the Phase 3 trials come back and say it is safe effective, then we wanna have the doses ready to go instead of having to wait for them to be manufactured.


My worry is Trump and his child like attention span is going to zero in on one vaccine candidate, fund that ones mass production, not bother to fund other ones, only to have the one they fund have mixed results in Phase 3 trials so Trump pushes it as THE one while another vaccines actually prove to be safer and more effective but he doesn’t fund their manufacturing.
