to piggyback off this, this is currently NYS 4-Phase re-opening plan

• Phase 1 – Construction, Manufacturing and wholesale supply chain, Curbside pick-up service for Retail, and Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing & Hunting

• Phase 2 – Professional Services, Finance and Insurance, Retail, Administrative Support and Real Estate/Rental Leasing

• Phase 3 – Restaurants/Food services and Hotels/Accommodations

• Phase 4 – Arts/Entertainment/Recreation, Education


Arts and entertainment dead last, I don't think I'll see an open movie theater in NY for the rest of the year, maybe fall at the absolute soonest.

glad i got to see it then, that's very surprising. i wonder if perhaps it was going to close by end of year anyway so that's why they're pulling the plug. i don't think it would have had the longevity of other disney broadway shows but, it's a bummer. it was very fun.

 

i'm really worried for broadway in general

i swear to god if i never get to see patti lupone...

 

If I don't get to see Moulin Rouge hexes will be cast

Frank Langella and Elaine May were rumored to be working on a small production right before everything fell apart and I really really hope that still happens.

I think fireworks are fine other than how much money they cost to put on when surely there are currently other outlets that could use it lol
