I love COD, but for me it's not meant to be a battle royale. I much prefer COD as TDM, Capture the Flag, Domination and so on. The movement and weapon play in Apex are just too great in my opinion. I tried Warzone, but I deleted it after a week.

 

I tend to switch it up a fair amount. Usually Lifeline, Pathfinder, or Caustic. But I'm really liking Loba's abilities so could end up being my new favorite.

 

I initially hated Warzone, but found playing it with an actual squad of my friends where we talk to each other is actually a lot of fun.

Our parter who just had Warzone finally bit the bullet and bought the whole game though so last night we got on and played Ground War.

 

Same, I jumped around a lot until season 3 and I've been focusing on Caustic ever since. He's just got so much damn utility with his gases.

 

Mad issues per usual with the season drop. The only problem with this game. Won't load anything, I better not lose all my AC haha

 

Maybe if I gave it another go, my friends keep asking me to jump on, but I'm either playing FF7 Remake or Apex.. I do miss the live die live aspect of COD and the Gulag is kinda cool haha

 

These are making me too stoked to play already.

Season 5 Patch Notes

 

Still maining Apex... I still think it’s the best FPS to come out in ages... MW: Warzone can be fun, but to me it feels kinda thrown together in comparison.

Excited to check out Season 5 when I get home.

 

Apex is awesome but where the EFF is the crossplay

Loba is absolutely insane... I got myself in a pretty bad spot in Duos in the end game... was getting (basically) 5th partied, teammate went down... dipped out while weak, got scanned, threw my teleportation ring up on a rooftop away from the fight, and was able to heal a bit...

Proceeded to take out a player with a Red Evo, looted it real quick, then clutched the two remaining kills for the W!

Getting high ground from that down-and-out position was crucial... that one felt good!

 

Played a bit tonight and yeah, Loba is awesome. Love the new map areas. Makes KC feel real fresh.

 

Mirage is so good now. Love playing him.

 

What’d they do to change him?

 

• Tactical: Psyche Out
  • Pressing the character utility action button allows Mirage to gain control of his decoy.
  • When controlling the decoy, it will mimic Mirage’s every move.
  • Decoys now last for 60 seconds.
  • Releasing another decoy will remove the previous decoy.
• Ultimate: Life of the Party
  • Mirage deploys a team of decoys that mimic his every move (think “Emergency Dance Party" from DUMMIEs Big Day).
  • Cooldown 60 seconds.
• Passive: Now You See Me…
  • In addition to cloaking when downed, Mirage also cloaks while using a respawn beacon and reviving a teammate (the teammate is also cloaked).
• Mirage’s “You got Bamboozled” line will now trigger when you bamboozle an enemy, instead of when you release a decoy.

 

that’s awesome. He’s my secondary when I don’t use bloodhound, so if I get back into Apex I’m gonna really enjoy using him

 

Yeah they killed it with his buffs. I feel like they may have even went a little overboard haha. Probably will be my new main though, super fun.

 

Mirage is almost too good now. His clones and how fast he can get them back are definitely gonna be nerfed. It's wayyyy too chaotic in fire fights now. Not saying it's bad, but I can see it getting tweaked. Maybe slow down how quickly he gets his ultimate. I think they will definitely undo the path nerf too, at least to 20 seconds or something. 35 seems like a bit much.

 

One other thing I noticed a lot last night playing ranked.. teaming. WTF is that bs.

 

Love Loba, just wish you could grab more than two items out of her ult. Not sure i see the point of the limitation.

 

Agreed, me and my buddy were saying you should at least be able to grab three things.

 

mastiff is totally useless now, man. sheesh.

 

yeah, i find unless I'm ads, then the damage is likely too fucking paltry to matter in a fight

 

Interesting. The few times I’ve picked up the Mastiff I’ve wrecked with it.

 

i preferred the season 4 peacekeeper to this season's mastiff by quite a large margin
