I adore the books

 

I completely forgot they split that into two movies. The trend of following HP in that way was pretty annoying, especially when the book that was being adapted wasn’t very long in the first place. Do they still do that for YA adaptations or did it pretty much die out?

 

Catching Fire, the film, is a near perfect blockbuster imo. But the casting for all major roles was knocked out of the park.

 

it died out after no one cared with the Divergent series and all the stars bailed when they tried to make part 2 a made for TV movie

 

Word up to the hunger games love. I mention it all the time as the best "trilogy" of the 21st century.

I enjoy it mostly because it actually ended. The hunger games was a nice compacted universe and its over. No spin off tv shows or cartoons or character . I'm very satisfied with the story we got.

Loved 1, loved 2, 3.1 was ok...3.2 was eh. But I'll take it

 

Halfway into Mythic Quest, it's great

 

hunger games movies were a pretty average franchise with CF being the only outright good one

 

Ummm but there's a prequel coming out soon...

I'm not entirely sold on it being from Snow's pov, but still excited.

The Hunger Games soundtracks were consistently great, at least until they didn’t bother to make one for the last movie.

Also something can be entertaining but not good. Outer banks entertained me but it’s not a good show.

 

I no shame love Outer Banks, show is a blast.

 

3 episodes into Normal People and I’m loving it.

 

closing in on season 7 of dexter and its actually really good. just bracing for the suck that i hear the final season is.

 

“Almost Heroes” is on HBO and it’s still absolutely hilarious.

 

S7 is great. 8 is new levels of bad. Jeez, the whiplash that show gave me may never fully heal...

 

Just finished tales from the loop. The pacing of that show - among other things - is so nice right now. Very calming.

 

season 7 is a top 4 season for me in the series. Season 8 is THE worst.

Anybody watching Dead to Me S2? Pretty good so far

 

Loved it

 

Up to episode 3 of S2. So far, so good. Applegate is so much fun. I like that this is the kind of show you can watch without any real commitment. Just enjoyable, easy television—that said, it’s not mindblowing or thought-provoking stuff in the least. Made to binge.
