Dan said The Wonder Years isn't playing Riot Fest, if it happens.

 

I'm convinced My Chem wasn't meant to get back together and Coronavirus is punishment for them doing it

 

And The Format, The Receiving End of Sirens, Armor For Sleep, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, & Rage Against the Machine. I had tickets for all of them

 

and bright eyes, even though they released some music.

 

i still think they are.

 

Why though? If Dan literally said they aren’t playing, I’m not sure why that would cause anyone to think they ARE playing. It would be a bit shitty for him to lie about that.

 

maybe he can't reveal they are on the lineup? i've seen bands say they aren't on festivals countless times only for them to be on it. The Wonder Years included in bands I've seen do that.

 

It's certainly possible Dan had to say TWY isn't playing because they have their rescheduled Chicago date in July. It's also possible that they were planning on playing but scrapped/changed their fall plans. Or they actually were never going play this year, but that would surprise me since it's the ideal spot to do an Upsides anniversary show.

 

The Fest announced the rest of their lineup adding bands like Gorilla Biscuit, The Menzingers and Beach Slang.

 

The Fest lineup is so, so good, and I'm sad that it's probably not going to happen.

They are currently scheduled to play the new dates for Slam Dunk Festival in the UK the week before riot fest.

 

That final phase is large events like concerts, so not a chance for RF.

Or any concert really, Phase 4 is limited to gatherings or 50 or less

 

Yep. Can’t see us getting out of phase 4 without a vaccine or some sort of treatment option that is effective until a vaccine is developed.

I'm with you all. I'd love to see the "line-up that could have been." Just because it'll add data to the pool for when we start predicting the line-up next year!

 

Yup, if Pitchfork isn’t happening an even bigger festival (or similar sized) isn’t happening two months later.

 

We would normally probably be getting the lineup any day now. :(

 

The 2014 lineup was announced on this day
