Yeah that’s an unnecessary dig lol everyone in that thread is pretty reasonable and wouldn’t shut down that conversation

I had to run into a Walgreens in Randolph today, which I believe is one of the hardest hit towns in MA, and I'm not gonna lie, I almost had a panic attack. I really had to work to control my breathing. That is the most scared I have been so far, including at work. And I had a KN95 & gloves on and DOUSED myself in hand sanitizer as soon as I got back to the car and immediately threw my clothes in the wash and hopped in the shower when I got home.

 

If it weren’t for my mom being a grocery store worker (which is awful as far my worry goes), this would be me a lot as I’d have to venture to the store to get meat and other fresh/frozen foods. Luckily target curbside pickup has allowed us to stay stocked on dry goods with no contact

 

Ugh that just reminded me that I need to pick up a prescription soon and the CVS I go to doesn't have a typical automatic drop box where they talk to you through an intercom like a Walgreens or Rite Aid. They just open the window and have direct face to face contact. Sketches me out a lot.

 

i thiiink all those places are mailing prescriptions if you call and ask? I know my wife was able to get hers from Walgreens shipped

 

Yeah that's a good point, I'm pretty sure my insurance actually encourages us to use CVS Caremark to mail prescriptions because it's cheaper for them. I'll definitely look into that, although I think I have less than a week on this refill and idk how great the USPS is right now to get that in time.

This is also the first insurance I've had that just chooses not to cover certain pharmacies. Like, they will completely refuse to pay even a percentage if I go to a Walgreens which kinda blew my mind. I prefer them over CVS by far

Yeah on a death-per-million scale, Sweden is a lot worse than surrounding counties and they’re worse than the US.

Wow, I can definitely feel the hit the USPS is taking. Either that, or just nobody is sending any junk mail anymore.

I checked my mail for the first time in a week just now because I suck and am afraid to leave the building and go to the mail room, and there were literally two small pieces of mail. Usually if I skipped even a day, it's overflowing with grocery store fliers and a bunch of junk.
