  1. if you give your employees an opportunity to get another job, it's okay to treat them like shit while they're at their current job. obviously

what if your career goal is to work for Disney? You're assuming that every person who takes a job cleaning hotel rooms or making food or working in a gift shop doesn't have a dream or goal of ascending the Disney corporate ladder. My sister did the college program her first semester out of college with the intention on moving down there and never coming home.

She came over after 5 months because of how much she hated it.

Sure, i bet there are tons of people with good experiences, but you can't dismiss those who had a poor experience and blame unions.

That sucks she hated it, as my wife did two programs down there and loved everything she did (cake decorating/wedding planning, friends with characters, as well as Candy Cauldron and some sports store at [then] Downtown Disney).

I thought Disney would be a career goal for myself, but saw after a couple months that wasn't going to be the case. Way too many stories of other workers (in parades when I was scheduled for those shifts, or on Indy which is where I worked) barely getting by needing multiple roommates. Out of everyone I worked with over the two years I was there, there's maybe 2 left that still work at those roles/within the parks. One other person went up to WDI (after she transferred to Guest Services to be a tour guide and make more money).

I'm sure lots of people have dreams to make Disney a career, but just like most other peoples dreams, soon reality hits and you have to be real with yourself if you want a career with a livable wage and actual benefits.

Love 2 defend multi billion dollar companies that don't give a shit about people because of one single experience

This seems like a wise idea for both teams and we should probably just skip ahead to making this trade now. Ya know, for the sake of the Bucks. Happy to help!

Sorry if I got y’all distracted from basketball, I was just suggesting that if Adam silver was so great he could use leverage over Disney to make them do some good things instead of letting them just carelessly liquidate most of their employees.

tbh Padgett kicking it like that was not smart, imagine if it had exploded off his foot and went everywhere

kinda like it was not smart of him to goaltend while trying to tip in Stockton's 3pt attempt in the playoffs that one time

    man he was bad

The lottery isn’t really something I’ve thought about right now. What do they do if they cancel the season? 30 team mega lottery with even odds??

I would imagine they would make odds based off records of when the season ended - as they normally do. Maybe stretch it to 18 or 20 teams instead of 14. I don’t know but there is no way they can do even odds for all 30 teams.

Yeah I’m sure they’d lean closer to no lottery at all before they went team lottery. But the idea tickled me

  24. Anyone that thinks Lebron or KD wouldn’t have been amazing in the 80/90s is insane, for the record.

I’d say a high majority of players today would do pretty well in the 80’s and 90’s
