Trump knows that a large portion of his base consists of former 'le epic bacon' dudes who have leveled up to white supremacy.

I can’t watch live tv anymore because every commercial is “during these uncertain times...we are all in this together...except our employees who are still making minimum wage without protective gear”

    Sooooo..... weird story

My friends sister tested positive for the virus over two weeks ago, she started to feel much better the past two or three days, today they cleared her to go back to work but won’t be retesting her??? She even asked and they said “not necessary”

Getting through season 6 of "Schitt's Creek" on the CBS-owned Pop TV was terrible. Every commercial break, I had Young Sheldon and LL Cool J telling me how we're all in this together.

So my company who already took 10% of my salary is now talking about ignoring stay-at-home orders and forcing us to come in as soon as any state opens up. Does anyone know what kinda penalty they could be facing?

These numbers feel a little meaningless without knowing how often people previously did this stuff. Would be more interesting to see it phrased on "are you planning on going to more / fewer / about the same number of sporting events".

The only problem is state UI offices were not equipped to deal with the huge influx of applicants. Turning it over to the states was a worse idea than just giving everyone a check from the Fed gov every month

If a democratic senator were to speak out about Biden’s sexual assault allegation I think it would be someone who isn’t seeking re-election, someone who can’t face political backlash because their time is over.

Look at Jeff Flake, he became the anti-Trump republican senator. He didn’t seek re-election because he knew he would have lost.

What democrat is willing to face political suicide? I don’t know if there is one. I guarantee that there are some out there that are weighing on what to do here.

Maybe but probably depends where the senator is from/what senator. The republican electorate has never asked their reps to be accountable for things like this. You think for example that Bernie isn’t being re-elected because he spoke out against rape? The dem electorate is worse than I thought but it’s not as grotesque as the republican electorate. That said if Biden or whatever nominee loses yeah that person will be scapegoated and I can’t think of anyone but maybe Bernie that would be safe off the top of my head.
Anyway you’re probably right and if that’s true we need a third party somehow because if doing the right thing (really the bare minimal right thing for something like this) is political suicidal there’s something big missing in your political system
