Yeahh I totally get that's what these kinda people are reacting to and think it's insane anyone would think it could affect our health. It's just weird how those reports of weather satellite interference seem to have just dropped off the face of the planet with no real reassurance or follow-up that it isn't a valid concern

Its not even just the VP candidates. Feel like a lot of women are in a bind right now as to what they say even now.

If only a couple speak out, they'll politically alienate themselves in many circles (see Gillibrand still getting flack for Franken) and probably just end up handing the election to Trump which no one wants which then the women get blamed for.

I feel like they gotta be trying to coordinate... something... because staying silent also looks very bad. But I'm not sure what. Biden dropping out before the convention while there are still primaries left to run but a pandemic is raging is such a giant clusterfuck I don't even know where you start. You'd wind up causing people to reopen their campaigns in a dash to get the remaining delegates...

It’s not on just women either though, and part of the article’s point is it’s not fair to place the burden on women. Anyone who has called themselves an ally has a responsibility to give the victim a voice. That was always vital to this movement no matter who the accused is, especially the more powerful they are and the harder it seems.

 

No one wants to be first for the very reason you mentioned in here about Gillibrand getting blamed for ending Franken's political career. More than two dozen senators said he should resign but only one is still getting backlash.

Quarantine update: the dryer doesn’t spin, I have no idea what I’m doing, but I know I don’t want to deal with a repair man or delivery person in my house.

I’ve literally accomplished nothing except pulling it apart and not knowing If I’ll be able to put it back together, so...yay!

I had the same thing happen. It ended up with a haggard ass solution of starting it with the door open by pressing the door switch, pushing the tumbler into action with my foot and pressing the start button at the same time. Eventually it started working on its own again
