Yeah Edith is so different cuz it has so many different playstyles so it doesn't get too old or boring.

I've also heard great things about A Plague Tale: Innocence but haven't played it yet.

Also if you're into puzzley type games similar to Portal, check out The Turing Test or The Talos Principle.

Japan is currently one of the most pro-American nations in the world, with 67% of Japanese viewing the United States favorably, according to a 2018 Pew survey; and 75% saying they trust the United States as opposed to 7% for China.

I was reading something a while back that talked about how historically Japan had consumed American culture and adopted it as its own etc. totally on their own

Also, America wrote Japans current constitution.

apparently Germany loved us during the Obama admin - but I think it’s more accurate to say that the German government loved us - and that the people don’t really like their own government or by extension America because of Middle East operations (and sadly the subsequent refugee crisis)

I love that you’re all googling if a country likes you lol. I live here and in the year I’ve been here travelling all over, the general consensus has been that they’ve not been too fond of Americans and assume most are loud and opinionated tourists only after one thing. The younger generation adore all foreigners. But a LOT of the other folk I’ve met (staff at schools, restaurant and business owners, friends and strangers at bars, tourist attractions and in the countryside) seem to resent how Americanised the country is, and show visible relief when I tell them I’m not American. Hell, even during training my company advised us of this and repeatedly told everyone to tone down their behaviour, opinions and prejudices because of strong stereotypes towards Americans. Believe me, I’m not just doing my ‘lol Americans’ usual schtick.

Big cities are absolutely swallowing your culture up. I mean they all LEGIT think Americans have to eat KFC at Xmas. So their KFCs are booked out months in advance before Xmas. It’s hilarious.

It’s sort of insane. It can come across like they’re copying the culture but assume they’re doing it better, in a sense? Idk. Hard to explain.

The worst thing here is the Asian on Asian racism. Astoundingly bad. My gf gets so much hassle over the fact she’s Asian but doesn’t speak Japanese. It makes my blood boil. I’ve never seen anything like it.
