I'm about 2 hours into Dragon Quest XI and I am enjoying it despite it making me sick if I play it too long in one sitting, but all I'm fighting so far are cucumbers and bunnies, even the dragon I had to run from was adorable. Are the monsters going to get threatening or is it just a cute game?

As soon as they got bought, they started working on Half-Life Alyx and other projects.

Now that Alyx released, it's still on hold.

 

Did everyone see that post by some Xbox Fanboys chumps that talked about how they knew a bunch of developers in the industry that were all talking about how Sony is freaking out because the PS5s overheat like crazy and that's why they haven't shown the console yet because they're going through a redesign trying to fix the problem?

 

I don't think they showed the PS4 physical console until June 2013.

Also, I bet they are probably basing their claims from that one Forbes article that said Sony are paying like $2 per unit for cooling lol.

 

I said weeks ago that I thought it was likely the reason for the delay was they were redesigning the physical appearance of the console. Idk about overheating, I just figured somebody decided they weren’t happy with the original design.

I can't speak for the gameplay itself, but that's pretty much the way monsters look in every DQ game. Cartoony and non-threatening. Classic Toriyama look.

 

Once the game gets properly started, it's pretty standard difficulty for a JRPG, with some harder boss fights later on. Don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say the last section is tough lol

 

Flash support is ending in 2020. Its legacy needs to be preserved

I wasn't aware of this. This should be a way bigger story in the video games community.

 

Finished Luigi's Mansion 3 today, so fun. I got way more out of it than I expected too, my playthrough was almost 16 hours

Can't decide if I want to start Pokemon Sword or Outer Worlds next
