I used both all season last year. NFL Mobile is just free for Verizon customers though. I live in Lower Michigan but was able to watch all of the Packers that weren't broadcast in my area. Idk if Comcast works (I have Charter) but there is an option to select from a few "channels" on the app. Need to be signed in with a cable log-in that has the NFL Network though.

Edit: I was wrong about NFL Mobile, it's only local games. I forget how I watched out-of-market games... Probably should figure that out soon.

Yo so I got mine to work even though I graduated last year. I photoshopped my transcript to say I'm getting my degree next year so if your sister has access to her email/transcript something like that it could still be a possibility for you. I got verified again and got the student pricing

The thing that terrifies me is we get 3-4 years of insane offense (Ben + AB + Bell + Bryant, etc)....and we combo it with a shit Tampa-2 defense, and by the time Tomlin realizes his defensive plan is garbage, we have no QB, no WR, no RB, and we're fucked. We have a great ball-hawking D, but, they're always starting at their own 50...

Cause we've now spent 5 of our last top 6 picks (Rds 1-3) on either pass rushers or defensive backs, and at this point, they're as likely to be a starter (Dupree) as they are to be a medical casualty (Golson)

Feels weird to be a Steelers fan who knows they are gonna win a lot of 28-21, or 35-24 games. Being used to 9-6 or 7-3 and all...

    Ertz is fine, no concussion.
JMatt has a knee sprain, will be out a week
Marcus Smith....who gives a fuck what is wrong with him.

They're fine. They still aren't going to be very good but they aren't going to be Top 5 bad. The defense should be very good and the team will go as far as the offense takes them (which isn't very far).

They'll probably be 7-9/8-8 and right in the middle of the pack.

is there a reason why people think the D will be very good? honest question, I am curious

they were 28th against the pass and 32nd against the run last year. I get that Chip's offensive system put a lot of pressure on the D, but is it really going to be that stark of a difference?

Same question, they didn't add anyone great. Schwartz alone is gonna vault them that high? Lol

Big reason is Jim Schwartz who will supposedly utilize the players much better

Whether or not it pans out who knows, but it's definitely a good reason to be optimistic

I wouldn't put money on it but it's one of those "it can't be worse" scenarios

oh I am sure their D will be better....just given the fact that they will be playing so many less snaps than last year, its bound to happen.

I just don't know if I am ready to call their D anything but average, though

I honestly have no fear about the Jags regressing. Malik Jackson, Dante Fowler, Tashaun Gipson, Jalen Ramsey/Prince Amukamara, are all this offseason looking like better talents at their position than we've even come close to having since Bradley took charge. Nobody on the team previously was even capable of doing what those players have shown me thus far in practice. In terms of smooth play/technique, athletic prowess, and quick instincts all five of those players look, honestly polished (yes, even Fowler and Ramsey are both visibly way ahead of the curve) and clearly better than anyone ive been rooting for at those positions since 2010.

Add those things and more depth to a team that didn't really lose any important talent either, Telvin Smith and Allen Robinson are still gonna ball, and I would honestly be disgusted and shocked if it was all to go 6-10 or something. We legit have too many good players to go 6-10 this year.

I mean, I'd hope they wouldn't regress lol

they won 5 games and have had top picks for how many years in a row

Yeah but man think about all the draft picks that didn't pan out for us the last fucking decade.

It fills me with joy to see Fowler looking great after that horribly untimely ACL tear. As much as I criticized the draft pick at the time because I wanted Leonard Williams, it's just flat out plain to see that Dante Fowler has ELITE agility and intensity for a 260 pound rusher. Just stupidly fast and efficient, his practice reps dont even look real they look like CGI. No one else on the team moves like that at that size, hell some of the DBS dont even look that quick in short areas.

And you can tell why he got lined up all over at UF, he has a ridiculous amount of pass rushing techniques as well. Nowhere near a one trick pony. Even as athletic as he is, he wins with his hands and effort first and foremost. That's the part I really like to see because it hints he understands the game and how to apply his skillset, and doesn't take his talent for granted like a lot of bust prospects do.

The defense will be worlds better alone on the switch back to an attacking 4-3. So many of those players on that team were simply not fit to play in a 3-4.

Guys like Vinny Curry and Brandon Graham are perfect attacking 4-3 DEs meanwhile Fletcher Cox SHOULD destroy as an attacking 4-3 DT. Connor Barwin fits in their nicely as a 4-3 DE and I'm super curious to see Benny Logan in the 4-3.

Eagles LBs all seem better suited for a 4-3 to me as well. Mychal Kendricks was at his best in a 4-3 and I think guys like Nigel Bradham can play. The sleeper of the defense for me however is still Jordan Hicks, I think he's a stud.

My main concern with the defense is the corners. So I'm a bit reserved there although it sounds like Jalen Mills is impressing and so that should help. They're very good at safety with Malcolm Jenkins and Rodney McLeod.

.....and also Jim Schwartz isn't Billy Davis.

We will see....I've made my opinion on the Eagles very clear this season to many people. It's the first year in a really long time that I debated with myself into skipping the purchase of Sunday Ticket. I bought it already but I'm expecting a rough year but I do think the defense improves greatly.

    Time will tell....
