Not sure. She keeps saying it’s “not on any record” so I could see it being released as a one-off or b-side.

 

I think she just means it's not on any record out at the moment.

 

Could be! I just know it’s been around for at least a year, so I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s its own thing.

Funeral pyre might be my favorite Julien song

 

That version of Rejoice was incredible

 

top 3, behind "Red Door" and "Rejoice" for me

 

Go Home will probably always be my favorite but Funeral Pyre is way up there

 

Conversation Piece, Happy To Be Here and Sprained Ankle for me!

 

"Turn Out the Lights" speaks to me the most directly, so I guess that's my fav, even though there are others that I appreciate more on a craft level that speak a little more indirectly to me.

"Hurt Less" is up there, too, except I can't really relate to the literal act of not wearing a seatbelt, lol.

 

Red Door, Sprained Ankle, and Something are probably my favorites, but I love all her songs so it's really hard for me to choose favorites.

 

Hurt less by miles, then go home and everybody does. If we’re counting covers her version of modern leper is two or three

 

Her cover of Ballad of Big Nothing is like that for me

I can't even list three favorites from each album without immediately wanting to change it, never mind her singles.

Honestly, the one-two-three punch of Rejoice, Vessel, and Go Home just does it for me.

 

Gotta be Hurt Less or Turn Out The Lights for me. Rejoice is pretty high up there too, though
