I bought that game the week it came out and have played it a total of like 6 times. I used to play Madden nonstop.

I eat quick slants for breakfast if I have a LB who is fast enough. You can’t trust the AI to defend that play but if you drop into coverage yourself you can take that play away.

One of my favorite plays to intercept lol. It’s super easy to recognize, and if your pass rush is good, it’s also easy to anticipate the order in which the QB will read the routes, and cover multiple routes at once before they split to different parts of the field.

I also am good at baiting people to throw the diagonal route on that typical Four Verticals play and then picking that off too haha. Another common slant that’s easy to recognize.
