    Found two 2016 bottles of bourbon county barleywine and a bottle of 2016 BCBS in my closet I forgot about. Threw in the fridge and fuck I love English barleywines. Probably favorite style, especially in a barrel. If I ever owned a brewery an English barleywine would be my specialty BA release every year.

    I need to try more barleywines. The couple I’ve had I wasn’t too fond of but plenty of people I know rave about them

    English barleywines are where it’s at?! I don’t like American barleywines, I don’t think the extra hops mesh well with the flavors.

    I like Imprint, but anyone driving 6 hours round trip for them deserves everything bad that happens to them.

    lucky enough to have a small family cabin on a lake in upstate NY and labatts have been a staple out on the water up there for as long as I can remember.

    will probably end up escaping up there soon if we can get wi-fi installed. Other Half Rochester is not that far...

    Had a Founders Curmudgeon’s Better Half and a Batch Brewing Barleywine IPA last night during a zoom call with friends to celebrate my bday.

    May have also had a few too many shots and may have also thrown it all up before bed.
