I picked up Live at the house of blues on ebay. I used to own it, let a friend borrow it one day years and years ago and never got it back. Kinda lame to have to rebuy it but totally worth it imo.

Is If We Could Only See Us Now worth getting? I've never been able to track it down...

I dig If We Could Only See Us Now. It's been a long time since I last watched it, but it's an interesting documentary on the band's history up through that point in time. Plus, the b-side collection is a nice bonus.

It's a decent doc, only really covers the first 2 albums and not a lot of performance footage. The songs on the cd are awesome. You can youtube the entire doc and get the songs digitally if it's easier :-)

YES!! Of course, I'd say that about anything Thrice related, but it's a really cool documentary that shows lots of old footage from when they were just getting started. Plus it has a CD with B-Sides and stuff. There are some used copies on Amazon for like $5 with shipping. TOTALLY worth it.

I listened to the b-sides on that comp not too long ago and really was not feeling them, especially That Hideous Strength, if I'm being honest.

The b-sides on the Red Sky ep are so good especially Flags of Dawn. That whole release is so damn good. I love all the acoustic versions.

Same story for me but with If We Could Only See Us Now. I'll have to rebuy that sometime.

Motion isn't Meaning is my fav off that as well, but the acoustic version of Stare at the Sun with strings is my favorite version of that song as well.

That Hideous Strength is one of my favorite Thrice songs. What don't you like about it?

Eclipse is great too. The only song on that release I don't care for too much is their cover of Eleanor Rigby.

Let's not forget I Want You (She's So Heavy). Although the true highlight of that release is Don't Speak. Manchester Orchestra feat O'Brother.

I'm pretty sure I'm with you 100% on this. the second verse where Dustin gets a little more raw, and moreover Teppei's riff...damn. gets me every time

I just don't find anything appealing about it really. Doesn't feel much different from anything from IOS, which is one of my least favorite Thrice albums.

Eleanor Rigby is too good to be covered for me
