As far as I know it doesn't rotate. My island has had the black and white lighthouse since the first day. Same with the other items from what I remember.

 

I’ve noticed that when I’m playing docked, the character voices sound like echos or you can’t really hear them at all. I’ve also noticed this in Fire Emblem. Has anyone else had this happen with theirs?
