Some of these dates are having Live Nation presales tomorrow. Should run a LOT smoother.

 

Tried to buy tickets for the 1975 tour through ticketmaster or live nation presale last week and they sold out in under a minute. So i am not so confident

is that the deal with the University Park, PA date on 11/12?

I am curious how one qualifies for that pre-sale.

 

actually none of this matters because the best tickets are going to be held by your venues and then released the day of the show after they go unclaimed

 

The Cleveland date is having two more presales tomorrow. One through Live Nation and another through Wolstein Center. Both will go quick, but at least it won't take us 3 hours to realize we can't get tickets.

 

Ive heard this myth of venues releasing tickets to sold out events on the day of, but in my experience that's all it is, a myth.

Every time I've called to inquire, even for shows I don't want to goto, they always say no tickets are available. Who does this?

 

it happened at least a few times for the last tour, Merriweather being one I know for sure. also i think it usually only happens when there are seat assignments.

 

I'm throwing in the towel. 3 hours, two successful waits in queue, and then no tickets due to site crashing.

Worst purchasing experience I have ever had.

 

This and the time I tried to purchase tickets for Muse at Webster Hall last year are my two worst experiences I have had. Except on that one it finally worked after about 3 hours.

 

Can't believe I'm saying this but this is 5x worse than the Modest Mouse/Brand New ticket purchasing experience.

 

Oh gosh tickets are run through that website where you wait in line? So glad I'm not going to a show on this tour. I did that shit once and I waited all fucking day. I think it was for the Brand New / Kevin Devine / Manchester Orchestra show.

 

Exactly. That's only for seated venues.

 

looking at the ECHL hockey arena I'm seeing them in, I think this is going to be a really cool show

After having to start over in line three times, I finally got my tickets. Also glad my info was correct so I didn't get crucified on here lol

 

I finally got back into the site after the third time waitin in the queue and now there are no tickets available. I have screenshots of everything I have done in the past 4 hours and I am sending them all to Sound Rink, even if they cant do anything
