I just got a new pair of boots. My transformation into Harry styles is nearly complete except this particular purchase didn't involve anything with sparkles or glitter. One day!

 

Just got these in the mail yesterday. Loving em.

 

If you ever go to Europe you need to shop at Primark. I couldn't believe the prices for the quality of stuff they have.

 

There's a few on the east coast.

 

Damn, really? California would like some!

 

They just opened one in King of Prussia (outside Philly). I've walked by it so many times, but I guess I should have gone in haha

 

I was just in Berlin for five weeks and I went in their twice and I couldn't believe how cheap it was. I wonder how cheap in USD though.

 

Why the fuck is it so hard to find cheap, cute clothes as a fat chick? I'm so tired of spending $40+ if I want to buy a shirt that isn't crap and isn't clearance. >:(

Fellow fat chicks - where would you direct a 22/24 (steadily decreasing) for cute stuff? I'm only going to be wearing each size for 2-3 months, so I don't want to invest a ton...

 

Old Navy sometimes has good stuff and maybe check Ross. Target and Torrid have great stuff but holy hell it is too expensive to even make sense.

 

Yell at me if I'm out of line cause I've never shopped there but I walked past a Lovesick yesterday and the clothes were super cute and totally my style but idk if it's yours!

 

Old Navy, Avenue, Lane Bryant Outlet, and Walmart (ugh) are my go-to shops right now. They were really the only places I could buy stuff when I was a 32w, so they're what I've stuck to. I have a job interview on Friday and I needed something in my new size, but holy damn Avenue has basically nothing in store. It's absurd. I bought a dress from Maurices a couple of weeks ago, but they're pricey too.

I have a love-hate relationship with Target. Like, they made this big deal about having plus sizes in store, yet they have no underwear for us and we get like three racks of clothes that are way more expensive than the hundreds of racks of cute stuff for straight sizes. And the plus sized stuff is so strangely cut half the time. So much more pain than it's worth when trying to shop there.

I can't bring myself to even attempt Torrid - even the sale stuff seems overpriced. Idk. I wish we had a Forever 21/Zara/etc that would actually offer a decent range, style, and price. >.>

 

Never heard of it - I'll have to check it out!

primark is absolutely awful quality clothing, i have a few t shirts from there that i bought as "whatever" clothes and ill probably never buy anything from there again. they're poorly fitted. i bought a pair of shoes there and the sole was falling apart literally within hours of wearing it and then it just fell apart.

 

I don't trust non-namebrand shoes.

 

I just got into Ultra Boosts. By far, the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

I also bought a pair of Pure Boosts in hopes that they would be comfortable while running, but they ended up hurting my ankles.

Primark jeans are absolutely awful. If you're going to buy good quality well-fitting jeans you need to spend money on them.
