I would say far, far more people were rooting for the Broncos in that SB because they wanted Manning to get one last one and ride off into the sunset

The most insane sounding part about this time of football was the debate between starting PEYTON MANNING or BROCK OSWEILER. And it was divisive!

My issue with Cam was that he made it about himself, I loved watching him play though.

 

It really sucked that that super bowl fueled the anti-Cam for so many people

 

His wardrobe is tight as hell.

 

The context made sense but it just sounds funny when ignoring it

 

I’m upset that Fournette had a good enough year last year that I can’t dunk on him during the RB conversation this offseason

 

Jones is VERY underrated, also less injury prone and more of a three down back than Cook

 

I just do not get the "he made it about himself critique" of Cam. I'm not going at you @broken22, I've heard it from a bunch of people. It's so weird coming from the context of a Brady fan where people complain that he's a robot who doesn't say or do anything. So Cam had fun on the field? So what? He danced because he scored. Stop him. He gave football to kids, what a monster. It's just so weird to me that the dude has a little fun playing a game and people want to turn that into a dig. What is he supposed to do? Grab a hot mic and breakdown exactly what all 11 players did every time he scores a touchdown?

 

You can always dunk on him for not being Pat Mahomes or Watson.

 

Cam was a pretty unsavory dude in college, had at least one brush up with the media where he was clearly in the wrong, but I’ve come around on Cam that his style of play and personality are fun and there’s more good than bad with him

I could, but the Jags’ front office has dunked on our Jags buds enough that they deserve fun things like acknowledgement of Fournette looking like a good running back (even though no RB is worth a top 5 pick)

 

I'm sorry @broken22 but I will make this about you for a quick second: Philip Rivers behaves the exact same way as Cam Newton a lot of the time and you love him, right? Or is it just the Chargers as a whole, I don't wanna misspeak over nothing
