Doom Eternal keeps playing to play then goes gray on my steam library and it's driving me nuts. I is ready now.

 

Nintendo's dumb fuck eShop won't let me play Animal Crossing.

I really dislike Doom Eternal so far. Feels like managing cooldowns and gimmicks rather than playing a shooter. I'm playing on Ultra Violence (hard).

 

From what I saw of Doom Eternal it looked cool but like...nothing all that new? Yeah they made movement more fluid but it is just more of the same. I enjoyed the first one but I don’t know if I’d be up for essentially that all over. It’s a game I’d probably pick up when it gets way, way cheaper.

the social experiment this game has become is fascinating to watch

 

I kind of want it drop to like $4.99 then I might join in.

Probably would’ve been a good idea to say that, you know, in the presentation.

 

cant believe consoles are just now gonna have ssds. it’s been the single most noticeable upgrade in my experience. loads times are gone with them. v exciting times even though it’s way past due.

that being said, you won’t be able to tell a difference in speed between your average ssd and a ‘top of the line’ ssd. total diminishing returns.

How can you not believe it? This generation started in 2013. No way they were gonna have SSDs in consoles back then. Hell, most PC gamers still don't use them. Until HDD is replaced entirely on PC, these SSDs won't be fully taken advantage of.

Doom Eternal is fun as hell. Ripping and tearing some demons is a great way to blow off steam after being cooped up inside all week.

 

AC Odyssey is, uh, amazing. feels like a thesis statement on all the best parts of 2010s best open world games.

 

Kinda funny im rotating between both ACs right now

 

Nice, i'm reallyyyyy enjoying origins as well so i'm gonna have to try odyssey some day

 

GameStop tried to classify as an essential place and California said no so they shut down here lol
