Isn't it a code among friends that you pay for your own stuff?

 

What code is this? I invited you out, I got you. But if we are mixed group of people (friends and others), I'll probably not pay for the whole group.

 

Interesting. Among all my groups of friends if one invites someone out, they just pay for their own stuff.

 

You're paying for your own stuff unless I say I'll pay for you.

 

I only pay for dates. And if a friend buys me food or a drink, then a debt has been incurred.

 

My friends and I just have one person (I always volunteer for those credit card reward$$$$$$$$) pay for everything and then Venmo it all the next day.

 

I wish I were in a situation where you put your cards in and whichever one is picked that person paid. But I am not.

 

Just do what I do and don't have friends and hang out with people

 

Yeah I've only ever had it split up, or done the Venmo thing. Don't think I've ever had it be implied by the invite a friend was going to pay for me. Unless they had gift card to a place we wouldn't normally go or I forgot my wallet or something

 

I usually go on an "I'll pay every other time" schedule with friends. My buddy and I took turns paying for Italian every week for two years. lol

It does keep things simple

 

Whenever we watch sitcoms my stepbrother laughs when the laugh track goes off. Every time. He's always done it even when he was little and didn't get the jokes. Like omg not everything is laugh out loud funny and you've seen these episodes tons of times.

I think I'm just a curmudgeon tho. My old rm used to laugh hysterically during shows and i'd always get annoyed cause she'd laugh through the next joke and i'd miss it

 

People in the grocery store (or anywhere really) that just stop right in the middle of the aisle, as though it isn't a busy bustling grocery store in the middle of the city. YOU KNOW people are behind you.. You didn't pull off to the side.. You just dead stopped in the middle of the lane.
.. So mainly just people who have no sense of their surroundings, in any instance, friends or strangers.


Also have to echo people playing videos or music on their phone with no headphones. Are you kidding me? No one wants to hear your shit music.

People at the buffet are constantly running over other people to get food or get to their seats. Always such a huge rush. The food will still be there. Calm the fuck down.

 

When people take an aisle seat and leave a window seat on a train or bus.

 

Sorry I do this, I love the aisle seat

 

Haha, no need to apologize, it's not a huge character flaw or anything. It's just awkward looking to me making people climb over you on a crowded bus. But then again, that's nowhere near the worst of what happens on public transit, so I should cool my jets ha.

I'm glad public transit here isn't usually crowded and I don't have to sit next to anyone. Not that I take it very often.

 

People seem to forget about inside voices the second they enter a train

 

I'm weird because I prefer the inside instead of the aisle like on planes, restaurants, etc.
