I mean, I hope the PS5 is more powerful than the Series X, obviously, just because that's the one I'm buying lol, so if they were able to make a change in time for the console to still launch in November I'd be ecstatic.

 

I am still doubting these consoles are out this year.

 

I am too, really going to be cutting it close with the manufacturing time most likely if they do still come out this year

 

Hopefully the fact that pretty much everything was planned to be cross-gen for at least a year will mean there isn't a shortage of actual games to play if the consoles are delayed. Then again, how many studios are shut down right now and unable to work remotely? That could cause a lot of software delays as well.

Also wonder if they'll hold them back a full year so that they come out during a holiday season or if they'll launch them in the Spring?

 

So as my memory serves me, I don't recall this game being touted as a Halo killer. It was a Deus Ex game that got turned into its own project and I actually really liked it. It was real interesting and I liked how they did the ending too.

 

Video game and tech stores are literally closed and god know for how long lol

Depends on what studios have the capacity to work remotely. CDPR said that Cyberpunk will not be affected by the virus because they stepped up their capacity to work remotely. They're definitely not the only ones who can do it.

There are definitely games that are too big not to hit brick and mortar retail, depending on how long this all lasts we will see delays

 

As long as Bungie keeps delivering that high-quality Destiny content, I'm good for the long haul

halo reach and destiny come to mind and for me they were infuriating with that stuff

I’ve never played overwatch, apex, or fortnight but iirc at least a couple of them look kinda like that to me

 

I personally expect lock downs to come and go in waves for like a year, so I think stuff will continue to come out, it has to, just on more flexible schedules

Fortnite doesn't have powers, Apex is more of a utility thing. I understand where you get the impression of it, but I don't find it as widespread as it might appear. Overwatch is definitely guilty of it though haha.

 

I also don’t really like powers. It doesn’t kill a game for me though.

 

What is a "cyberpunk"? Are there "cyberjocks" and "cybergoths" as well?
