Disagree hard. Yeah, you’re not climbing up walls and stuff, as such that’s a given you’d feel any other game would be ‘clunky’ in comparison, but the movement in Warzone and MW flows pretty well imo. I was obsessed with Apex but my interest in it peaked a while back. I return occasionally but the powers kind of kill it for me, as well as the really long TTK. Warzone has a really good balance right now, doesn’t require pesky inventory management, the gunplay is brilliant, and is ridiculously easy to access from the get-go. They did away with the dumb armour system from Blackout, you don’t have stash meds as it’s auto regen, and it’s just overall a more casual, enjoyable experience. You’re also asking this in a thread many winners of Warzone frequent lol.

I like both Warzone and Apex. I was really down on Warzone at first, but the more I played the more I liked the "more grounded" rhythm of the game. I think it still needs some adjustments, but it's really fun.

Apex has powers, cool weapons, characters with personalities and Warzone has long distance firefights, vehicles, the gulag, and more character customization. Both have different appeals that keep me coming back.

There are two things that do bother me about Warzone though (and I assume COD as a whole), there are sometimes objects that give off the impression you should be able to vault over them, but can't (or vice versa) and I have problems with my voice chat not working sometimes.

I guess if you’re really good at gunplay and enjoy that aspect it can feel kinda cheap for someone to teleport behind you or whatever. But it’s part of the skill ceiling I suppose. Knowing when to use them and how to beat utilise them.

Tbf that’s usually what I’m about. Simple. Everyone has the same tools. It’s just a case of gittin gud. I’m never usually as invested in more fantastical stuff.

But all guns go bang bang in real life. Don't you want to escape? Escape with me into a world of pure imagination...

Get away from me with your wonka

In real life I respect guns and don’t go anywhere near them though. I also come from a country that doesn’t hand them out quite so willingly and has laws in place to prevent needless incidents haha. So I can be an idiot with them in video games and enjoy them as much as anybody else would enjoy idk a fictional plasma blaster or something.

Now that I just platinum-ed The Fallen Jedi, I'm going all the way back to finish Horizon Zero Dawn DLC.

Haha you make a lot of good points. I've always enjoyed stuff like Rainbow Six: Vegas over stuff like Overwatch.

This precisely. That sort of scenario in a video game sense is far more interesting to me than robot people or anime girls with big tits and wings. I like tits. I just don’t feel the need to play as somebody with them. And why would I want to shoot them?! With lasers?!

There are of course exceptions. Alien Isolation for example. But even that’s using pretty standard weaponry...and in an extremely limited quantity given the circumstances also. Adore that game and space fascinates me.

Is that the orgasm ray gun game? Which came with a collector’s edition set of panties (handkerchief)?

Why do games like that exist? Is that like Splatoon but with boobs?

Right like...if you’re into hentai or anime whatever the fuck, surely it’s better to watch porn rather than gamify it and have to keep setting your controller down to play the devil’s clarinet? Like you’d surely load it up, be turned on, stop playing to tend to such things, then what? You’re seriously going to actually play that game like normal now? It’s daft and I genuinely cannot grasp why it exists other than for shits and giggles

How dare you! The game you are referring to is Gal*Gun! This is a spin-off from the prestigious Senran Kagura beat-em-up/fighting series.

Do you dare assume all of these games are of the same caliber? For shame! This game came with a Blu-ray DVD of all the animated opening sequences of the series, a VR mode where you can inspect and adjust all the character models and as a bonus has a DLC of Soaking Wet High School Uniforms!

I will say, I wish this studio would take the mechanics of this game and put them in a good new IP because as a shooter it's really competent.
