They aren’t doing shit with any of them. So why not? Silent hills hasn’t had a game in years. Metal gear has been trash since 5 and idk about castlevania never played it but still

 

Because they're using the brands to make gambling machines. But also because they're an incredibly spiteful company that probably doesn't want to sell them and have anyone else profit off of them. Especially if that company is Sony, who will hand the reins of MGS and SH back to Kojima.

 

Which is where they both belong. Sony has the money to make it happen. I bet after the ps5 comes out this happened and becomes official. Kojima should have the rights to mgs and sh. Mgs is his baby that Konami fucked up and won’t make any new games so.... I think you just don’t want the new/remakes that are talked about to be ps5 only so you are being salty about it

Konami is a legendarily horrible, spiteful publisher. They hate Kojima. The very last thing in the entire world Konami would want is for the brands they own but are too incompetent to make into real video games be in the hands of someone else who will be able to succeed where they have failed. And even less so if that person is Kojima, who, again, they hate. They would never give him the rights to MGS back, which is exactly what they'd be doing if they sold the rights to Sony. Also they wouldn't be able to make pachinko machines out of those licenses anymore, which they'd be loathe to give up.

Also I've purchased every Sony console and handheld ever made and have said multiple times in this thread that I'm getting a PS5 on launch day and waiting to buy a Series X, moron.
