When we drove through Daytona Beach and tried to stay there for a night on our road trip a couple years ago, it did seem kinda....I don't know, not what I was expecting lol

 

Is it like the Jersey Shore episode of Always Sunny? Lol

 

There are still good parts, but it’s not Daytona. The Daytona area (Port Orange, Ormond Beach, Ponce Inlet) are very nice, but Daytona is being overrun by homelessness and drug addicts. I’ve grown up here and the decline was a rapid one.

 

Pretty much.

 

Walmart’s website says they’ll be closed from 11pm-6am each night to clean and restock. Wow.

Definitely spent all of Friday and yesterday trying to pressure them I'm sure

 

Of course trying to talk up the markets for tomorrow

 

I don't really know any Walmart's open past midnight but I'm definitely glad they're taking action. Making sure they're cleaning the store is so important

 

So I’m the interim admin assistant at work which means I’m doing like 3 jobs currently on top of all the corona stuff and starting Monday we’re not allowing any non-staff employee into our office which puts all the pressure on me lol. So I have to be super vigilant to stop IT, FedEx, interoffice mail folks, people from the next office, etc. from coming in the office all while trying to navigate working from mostly email and Teams since most of the office will be WFH. Hoping most of our managers realize that work WILL slow down but who knows.

 

Tried to brag about the 2000 point bump on Friday. Now telling people to "relax" lol

 

Truly hope my coworkers smarten up and stay at home tomorrow. Mind boggling that they'd choose not to when we've been given the option to WFH. I had literally one coworker say she's "considering it" only because she sees her elderly father a lot, but otherwise she didn't seem really concerned about it either

It's so crazy that we live in a time where states have to announce new restrictions literally during the speech where the leader of the country is telling us we don't need to worry
