Does anyone have video of the house screen during the end of dammit? My friend said she saw Skiba handing me the pick on it and I need to know if this is true and preserve the moment. Lol. I found this but it didn't catch the venue screens.

 

Saw a bunch of people on the screens, but I was pretty excited to see what was going on haha gonna check if me or my friends recorded that

 

This clip is insane, and I was wondering one thing while watching it: the audio is definitely from the soundboard/pro-recorded. I wonder if it's going to be released somewhere.

 

Yeah I completely agree with Feeling This as the perfect opener. From the riffs, drum beats, vocals to the energy of the song, just great. Perfect way to kick off the concert and get people in the mood. I question how Cynical would work as an opener with Mark's opening verse and no music. I guess they could keep the stage dark and have Mark go through the verse and when the drums kick in light up the stage and go from there.

I'm over Dumpweed, First Date, Violence, Down, Stay Together for the Kids and Carousel as songs I've heard way too much live and don't need to hear them ever again no matter how much I may like the song.

 

They can really only open with Feeling This given their current stage production. They can't really do the big curtain drop with the intro of Cynical. It's perfect to start with the curtain dropping and Travis drumming, and then Mark and Matt running to the mic to do their parts

 

I could see them staring with Cyncial and have Mark's opening part while behind curtain and then when it picks up, drop the curtain.

 

I keep thinking about how I'm so fucking sick of hearing Radio live every time I go to a trio show and how much some Blink fans must suffer because they basically have the equivalent of Radio ten times in a set.

I'd personally love it! But most the crowd didn't know Cynical when I saw them live

 

That would be very nice. Strobe city once the curtain drops.

 

I love Radio!! I've only seen them live twice though.


For some reason I never get sick of any blink song live....except first date

 

hence why they still play the majority of the same set at every show...

 

They should just put their instruments down and spin their deep cuts for the crowd. Nobody leaves until they learn the lyrics.

 

Yeah, I've seen them close to 40 times now in just 6 years. Lol.

 

What's more annoying than the setlist is that the opening to the show has virtually been the same for like six years now.

 

That's crazy!! I have seen Alkaline Trio 16 times from 2003-2015.

 

Lol I've seen them ten times in 16 years and they're my favorite. I can't even imagine seeing one band that often. But I am a boring person haha.

That's dedication. I think the most I've ever seen one band is 4 times (My Chemical Romance and Three Days Grace).

 

Yeah, I didn't think it was all that out of the ordinary because I knew other people who did it, even if not to the extent I did, until the band themselves were like "what sort of magic are you pulling, you just show up anywhere and everywhere." But hey, I've got awesome memories and literally a small closet full of cool shit out of it, including a signed cymbal and a past live laminate Matt personally gave me and wrote a little message on that according to him, only the crew had, which was small. It was just the band, the tech, the tm and the merch guy. Even the bands that opened for them didn't get a laminate, just stickers. And he's dedicated songs to me about 3 times now, one of which I've got on video. I don't know I'm probably a weirdo and just love the band too much. Haha.

So I just saw this on Facebook lol now this is effort:

One day my girlfriend was being very CYNICAL, and I couldn't figure out if it was because she is BORED TO DEATH or maybe SHES OUT OF HER MIND. Maybe a vacation to LOS ANGELES would help her, but I doubt she'd be SOBER at all the whole time. Maybe if I surprised her with a pool but she would ask who BUILT THIS POOL, knowing it wasn't me because I have NO FUTURE as a construction worker. I could go for a walk but she would tell me that HOME IS SUCH A LONELY PLACE when I'm not there. Perhaps I'll take her out on Friday and we can be KINGS OF THE WEEKEND. We are getting older after all, we are no longer TEENAGE SATELLITES, but perhaps she'd rather stay home and be LEFT ALONE. Looking at it now, I can't believe we are going down this RABBIT HOLE and I considered a trip to SAN DIEGO to make her happy. Really, her being happy is THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS, and that's more important then going to CALIFORNIA or any BROHEMIAN RHAPSODY party. So love, HEY, IM SORRY.
