Top 5 for me is Me and My Lovers, Let Me Go, The Season, Lucky Bastard, and Church Doors and Skeptics. Movement was good but didn't really stick with me all that much tbh.

* I always assumed Son of Mine was Pt I of the 3 just based on lyrical content.

 

For me it's between Let Me Go, The Season, and All My Friends Are Dead. After that I'd put Lucky Bastard and maybe Balance because it's the song that got me into the band.

Pretty much totally random choices though. The list would change every time I attempted to make it. The only song from this band I don't totally love is Girl, Gun... but even then, that string section at the end comes in and lifts it right back up.

 

Bad timing tweeted today that they would be in our ears in a few weeks about some new releases so I am not getting my hopes up for this week

 

Damn. Girl, Gun would probably be on my list.

Girl fun, is such an angsty song!

 

I like Girl Gun but it's probably my least favorite on the record. For the longest time I would confused the beginning of that song with the beginning of The Season and I don't really know why.

 

Both start with picked minor chords they may even both be in e minor

 

Yeah, there are certainly similarities but for the longest time I would think Girl Gun was The Season until like the chorus of the song. Which is strange, because The Season might be my favorite in the album but I apparently couldn't recall how it sounded haha

 

Girl gun isn't very good IMO and doesn't fit on the season

 

Yeah that's one of the only songs I dislike on The Season. My three favorite songs by them are Let Me Go, Orchestra, and Sans.

 

Orchestra is my favorite AGO song

Anyone else here like Come Wind? Was listening to Move In Place earlier and forgot how much it scratched the itch that the lack of an All Get Out LP left me with last year

 

I like the vocals so much better on the ep. Only reason I can't get as into the LP
