got back from WDW on Sat - got to ride ROR twice and it was absolutely incredible.

Rode Runaway Railway once and it was super well done and very cute!

overall extremely thankful we got to go when we did :worried:

I currently have no plans to cancel my May trip unless the parks are closed. Unless things get dire, but I guess we will see what happens between now and then

I def wouldn't cancel at this point but you might want to consider getting insurance on your flights (if you're flying) - airlines are assholes

I was going to go to universal in a few weeks but Jurassic park ride is down for a refurb for unannounced time so now we have no reason to go lol

Universal studios without that is soooo boring

Yeah, I technically did it 1.5 times in one day due to a breakdown midway through and gettin a fast pass to return later. I think it might actually be impossible for multiple rides in any organic way with how the boarding pass process is still set up.

yeah we did it two different days haha since you get your boarding group really early (park open) and once it's called you have two hours to show up if you have park hopper tickets it's awesome cause you can go do other stuff in the meantime and then hustle back when you're close to being called

If you get your boarding group, can you still use FastPass or does that block your 2 hour time slot?

you should still be able to use FP since your two hour slot isn't known based on boarding group. if your boarding time overlaps with your FP you would just miss the FP then.

We were able to get FP's in other parks when we had a boarding group assigned.

The wife and I have plans to go to Universal in Orlando on Saturday because The All-American Rejects are playing there, but now we’re having some second thoughts due to the virus. We’re pass holders and I’m not sure if seeing AAR is worth the risk.

might be a controversial take but I wouldn’t cancel any plans. More people have died of the flu this year than corona virus. It’s popping up everywhere anyway. We’re in Orlando now and all the parks are providing lots of hand sanitizer and stations to wash your hands

Great to know! Plans are still on then. We rarely get out these days since we have a two year old.

Getting reports from people that they closed Disney in Orlando today because of the virus...

EDIT: I’m not seeing anything other than Disney in Japan being closed. I think people aren’t reading enough.

Enjoy it man. My fiancé and I went to universal last year and I was memorized by the Harry Potter land. Wash your hands and have a good time

Oh we go to Harry Potter a bunch. That new ride they have where Dueling Dragons (I refuse to call it dragon challenge) used to be is really great. Our sitter just fell through, so we’ll see if we can find another one.

I miss it so much. I’m glad they didn’t replace it with another ride with a screen though. Getting tired of Universals simulators.
