Ugh wish they’d kept the watercolor theme. All on circa now.

This album is really growing on me with each listen!

Currently editing pics from the show, will be posting when done.

Yeah after the first couple listens I’m kinda disappointed. Definitely the most “samey” feeling of any of their records.

I like this, I understand why people wouldn’t, but I think it’s a nice changeup and most of the songs land pretty well. I can’t say I understand the “samey” criticism though, this is actually pretty varied compared to most of their other releases

I thought the production of DF was great, but I think I like the production on this new one more!

They seemed so happy all night and like they were having a great time. Love to see it

Yeah every song has its own identity. I think the album is pretty much the opposite of samey.

I’ve been able to spin this 3 times in full and several extra listens to the singles. Yep; another Silverstein album that I love.

This is a lot different from their other stuff and more alt rock and pop-punk. Not a bad thing though. I can’t get some songs outta my head.

That merch looks amazing. I just got that Ltd champion crewneck they had available a couple of weeks ago in the mail today, but that hoodie is calling my name now.

"Shape Shift" needs more mentions/love. I really enjoy the slow fade in of the the song's introduction, but the chorus is low-key infectious. The vocal flow is just so catchy.

Really debating seeing them in Atlanta on Friday since my off days line up perfectly for this. Besides seeing them for a brief few songs at Warped several years ago, I haven’t seen them since Arrivals & Departures came out; When ADTR played before Devil Wears Prada and then them. So it’s been awhile.

I don't dislike this like I thought I would but it's definitely not something I feel like I'll go back to a whole lot.

This was, ok. I liked it but don’t have any stronger feelings to it. I found it... idk not shallow, that’s the wrong word, but something feels so... generic(?) here and done before by countless other artists. It’s new territory for Silverstein but not for music of the last 2-3 years as rock bands blend into “lighter” rock pop bands(?).

I can understand the comments about this feeling a little more generic/shallow, and maybe they've taken a few too many cues from Bring me the Horizon, the 1975 etc, but at the same time, I think they needed to do this.
Every record's had pretty much the same sound/structure since their debut almost 20 years ago. And while they've been one of the better bands at actually succeeding in keeping a sound, I commend them for taking the dive and trying something new. September 14th is one of the most Silverstein-sounding songs on here, and I find it really boring ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I realized how much I'm getting into this record when I found myself headbanging while doing the laundry yesterday.

Initial thoughts thru my second listen this am:

    - I really hope they play Say Yes! live so I can belt it
    - I overplayed the singles but still love them, esp. BH as the opener
    - love the mix of “hard” and “soft” felt like they struck
    - how is it possible they can *always* sound like Silverstein?

This album is exactly why they’ve been my favorite band for 15 years. So impressive that after 20, they’re still able to evolve and make music like this. Wow.

edit: Can’t wait til my record gets here

Definitely agree on Shapeshift—I need a few more listens to understand what’s drawing me into it though.

Maybe it’s because I’ve listened to Burn It Down like 40 times now but I really love Caleb’s feature. It’s a perfect jab to the face in the song and I feel like it’s the crescendo to the chaos of the song if that’s makes sense.
