I did teams for Cam and Laura last night. Trying something new for both, so we'll see how that goes.

 

@zigbigwig and @Fucking Dustin What's your availability looking like this week for our battles?

 

I'm free tomorrow night or Wednesday night! I wanna potentially get some practice in first, so I'd prefer Wednesday night if that works for you. Otherwise we can do anytime on Saturday; I'm busy Thursday and Friday nights this week as well as during the day on Sunday.

maybe i should just do all my 4 matches this week in one sitting and be done with it

 

Pretty sure @zigbigwig only needs 1 win to clinch playoffs if we're doing 4 teams

Edit: Yup, 1 win puts you with 7-3 as worst case scenario and you'd win tiebreaker with @JRShoenberger if he won out and get automatic playoffs

oh but i'm giving everyone else free wins if i do that

 

You might wanna win out to get to play a lesser seeded opponent when the time comes

Plus it's Pokemon might as well just play the matches and have fun

I just like looking at playoff scenarios and all that so figured I'd mention it

 

If I continue to do well I hope that I clinch playoffs before my final match so I can use all of the lesser Pokemon on my team I haven't used yet. On the other hand, if I go on a severe losing streak then I'm using a totally random team my last week.

 

That's definitely a good way to look at it too, you can try out new things if you've already secured a spot and feel better about the risk

 

@CarpetElf and @PeacefulOrca I can do any evening this week, except Thursday. When are yinz free?

I think I'd have to win out and have some help to make the playoffs.

 

Top 4 seeds are 6-0 5-1 5-1 and 4-2 so yeah all of us at 2-4 need help

 

and I think we all mostly play each other

 

@JRShoenberger needs help too by the looks of it, he has played all 4 top seeds already

Only the top 4 control their destiny

ok i'm splitting my week into 2. i don't think i can plan 4 teams in 1 day.

@thenewmatthewperry @DerekIsAGooner i prefer playing later until Wednesday, if it's earlier it's better for me.
