The Walking Dead is falling back into boredom after season 9. Why can’t AMC realize that we would rather have 8 dense episodes than 16 episodes that drag?

Why have 8 chances to make money when you can have 16

Quality over quantity isn't known to executives.

Ya it was bad.....The show was good the last two seasons....but it's going back to boring as hell. Like why would you want to have an that's filmed mostly in the dark and the audience can hardly see anything? Or is my TV just bad?

I just watched episode 1 and 2 of season 8 and I have no idea what is going on. They showed up at Negan’s just to shoot the windows out? Why waste all those bullets? I’m assuming these other people they are rounding up are Negan’s outposts? Who the hell is this dude Rick and Carl are chasing around? Ohhh it’s Morales. I’m supposed to care. And if this damn tiger is eating bad guys he’d be eating good guys too

The cave was real bad, looked like a cheap movie set.

I couldn't see if it looked good or bad... all I saw was darkness. Oh and I can't fuckin stand Carol. I never have and now she just needs to go away.

Carol has become such a joke. I get that her trauma still eats her, but she can't keep being this stupid and surviving

I really hope Alpha gets her, but ultimately gets taken down.

Walking Dead never fails to create great characters and ultimately make them boring...it's too bad. The show was showing signs of life too.....

Sunday's episode seems exciting. Will be good to see some old faces again.

It was pretty dumb. More filler. I wouldn’t be surprised if “that scene” isn’t until episode 16.

Still on season 8. So of all the things that I’m like “how do they not run out of this”, where the hell do they keep getting instant film and flash bulbs for vintage cameras?

That scene has been deleted from my mind.

After season 9 being a good return to something enjoyable, this second half of S10 is getting silly again.

The Whisperers are such a slow burn and there should have been carnage with the big bloke tonight

How hard is it for negan to jump out at the gas station and cut alphas head off? That’s what the audience wanted. Cmon walking dead. Be less boring.

They should just do like 8-10 episodes per season and cut the crap.

I haven't seen any of this season aside from a couple of minutes, I just don't understand how anybody can be invested in any of the characters anymore

This was better than the last episode...it was close to being good and for a little bit it looked liked shit was about to happen and then nothing did :tear:

I think this is my problem, I don't care for any of the characters anymore. Let's just get the action scenes happening and forget about character arcs at this stage.

I agree and disagree. I do care more about Daryl than I have in a long time, but other characters like Carol, I'm losing interest in.. fast. I still love the Whispers and the scenes with Beta were awesome. The shot from outside of the house looking into the windows was great.
