idk why anyone would choose to include the word libertarian in their views if they werent prevailing libertarians - the name is total rot and the libertarians in washington are literal villains

I see what you are saying here but that last sentence...How do you know since you haven't really seemed to study different facets and nuances of it and just are talking about the right wing ideology with assholes like Ron Paul?

 

I think it's cause intellectuals assume that people will study the nuances of things but nonetheless "libertarian" seems to be a dirty word for Dems and "socialism" a dirty word for Repubs.

Because I don't believe in the idea that less government is better and that idea runs through every libertarian ideology I've ever come across (though it manifests itself in different ways depending on left or right). Whether their intentions are better or not are irrelevant to me if I don't agree with the premise.

there are like zero prominent libertarian socialist candidates. how many members does that group even have? we do however have a pretty cool socialist candidate right now.

but hey if its goal is to eliminate the state and afford workers common ownership in organizations that benefit from the fruits of their labor

then it sounds pretty cool and close to socialism. but does it touch on public welfare programs or regulation at all?

Im honestly just glad its not more libertarianism tho because Ive had enough of those people - its extremely popular and extremely annoying
