I really shouldn't be. Especially considering I'm getting married in three months. But shhh!

 

I've already made an explicit agreement with my wife that the only vinyl I'm allowed to buy for the remainder of the year is Brand New LP5.

And it's good to show some restraint every once in a while, but I want this so bad.

I just recently acquired Songs For Silverman, and it includes a bonus track, the b-side on the 7". So I don't really have a use for it now.

Just pay for shipping and it's yours.

 

dang. cheaper than the original, too. pretty sure that was $30 or $35.

Got the clear when they first pressed it. Absolutely love it.

While it won't be a repress, I certainly am ready for it.

 

They responded on Twitter that a repress was happening.

 

Oh yeah true. I don't think they released anything physical for it, which is a shame.

 

It's never been pressed so it can't be a repress is what he's saying.

 

But it hasn't been pressed yet...

A vinyl pressing is on the way. But it will be the first pressing.

I would MAYBE buy HOHW but after reading comments from their old drummer, just seemed like they threw that album together to do something and didn't really care. That bugged me a bit.

Debating this Come Now purchase.

Used to listen to this record a ton but haven't in some years. I don't know if it holds the same interest

 

it still came out on CD and I have a shirt of the album art.

 

Just got my Midnight/Smitten variant of Goodness.

I hate that album art, still. Enjoy the record though.

 

Spending $45 on one record isn't like me at all. However, I've been waiting for this album to get a proper vinyl (not a pic disc) release forever now. But I had to go ahead and pull the trigger. Looks like this record is finally getting the release it deserves.

I hate that there is no definitive date, but this will be a nice surprise when it does come in. (Hopefully around the same time as the Special Edition of A Moon Shaped Pool)

Dang it. Every time I'm tempted to buy more vinyl, it's something you've posted on here.

 

haha I knew you would come back with a comment like that about this record. If it makes you feel any better, I was trying really trying not to make any other vinyl purchases either.

That return policy though. No warped records allowed to be sent back?! They want you to bend the record in the opposite direction by hand. Sketchy.

 

Yeah I'm definitely taking a gamble. But they nearly sold out of all their represses that were listed online yesterday. A couple were pressings of 3,000 or more.

If I thought literally ANY OTHER distributor would be carrying it, I would have waited. But it looks like Bong Load Custom Records will be the only ship carrying them since they're limited. They "hand select a handful of brick and mortar stores" to sell their releases. But I'm not confident that any of those shops are located in Tennessee.
