brand new is one of the only bands i can think of that don't really need to attempt to generate "buzz". have you guys seen the turnouts to these shows recently? its insane.

 

If brand new
1) tours Canada again before they're done
2) puts out another record

Then I'll already be getting way more than I ever thought I would

 

I'm pretty confident you'll get both.

You may never get that Brand New and The Hotelier coheadlining tour, but you never know.

Also I'm salty that jesse came out to the line at a show recently but didn't come out in tampa. I hope that everything that was reported back is true!

I was literally in the very front of that line in Tampa, but they moved us in toward the gate and let us in so quickly, and it was during their sound check.

Looks like they played Sealed to Me last night.

 

Would have loved it at one of my dates. Can't wait to have the studio version of this today when it's realized with the tour announcement

 

And I thought I was a glutton for punishment.

 

But really, I'm sitting on pins and needles today.

 

I feel like it's going to be Monday and not today, but I'm still hoping.

 

Wouldn't it make more sense for them to announce another tour when the BN/MM tour is over? I feel it'd be a little weird if they announced/started to promote another tour while still on their summer tour.

 

That's why I'm thinking Monday. Tour is over, and based on that one leaked date tickets go on sale Friday, so Monday would fit for an announcement.

 

Monday is definitely more likely.

With how they've been handling their vinyl merch, I'm not worried about ordering the new album (if being announced alongside the tour).

I'm worried about securing a ticket for the smaller venue tour. I also want to know if they're playing two Florida dates close enough to each other that I could do back to back shows. I'd have to convince my wife first.

I'm gonna guess that the General Sale is on Friday.

Presale will probably be right after they announce it on SoundRink.

 

I can confirm this and it was glorious. Really thrown that they opened with it but the contrast from it straight into vices was a trip.

No way and Vices too? That's pretty sweet. I think it's a safe bet to say that the next single is Sealed to me and the tour (and hopefully more) announcement will be made next week.
