I have no interest in this game or events after the whole Hong Kong incident, and their shitty apology

 

Role queue is the worst thing to happen to this game and it's not even close. 15 minute wait to play as a DPS, only for one of my team to throw a few minutes into the game. Basically makes it impossible to play ranked as a DPS.

Additionally, you always get people playing heroes that they find fun but aren't really useful in the comp. Before, you could get around it by swapping yourself. Now, if I go healer, you get an Ashe, a Widow and a Ana all on the same team as they're fun to play and people think "well I've waited long enough, I'll just play whoever I want".

They're entitled to do so, but the system just encourages it. Which leads to games being over before they've even begun.

 

agree with this but less so. Literally the last time I tried to do comp rankings someone left the game every single time. I haven’t done comp since (I think it’s only been one season since then but still)
I don’t even play anything but arcade now it seems like, just to get the boxes. Don’t have the patience to wait for qp or comp

 

The only good thing about Role Queue is it forced me to switch off DPS.

I’m 100% a DPS player, but I’ve been doing fucking awful since the latest balance patch. That, plus the insane queue times, finally made me queue up as tank. Now I’m a plat Zarya one-trick, but I also now always have gold kills and damage and I’m that guy thinking “wtf dps do your job” lol.

 

it also definitely blows that you can’t flex in role queue when someone leaves the game, makes it really hard to overcome a 6 on 5

 

I feel like the hype on this game is completely dead. Usually I'm anxiously awaiting a new character. I didn't even realize they dropped the old release cycle. Been six months since were got a new one.

 

I feel like we aren't gonna see any new characters until OW2 drops

 

They said at least one, but who knows when that’ll be. They definitely stopped the flow of hero releases too early.

 

Not to mention all of the criticism blizzard has been taking from the pro players about balancing characters and neglecting the second tier pro scene.

 

Someone hacked my blizzard account and I feel so sad. They changed my email and I can’t regain access :(
