I think Thursday is probably the most overrated band on the site. I enjoy/can find value in pretty much every other heavy hitter. I’ve tried for like a decade now with them and just don’t get any part of it

Just chiming in to say that California sucks and Nine is so so so much worse. It's in no way innovative, creative, or enjoyable and I would rather listen to nails on a chalkboard.

 

Post S/T blink is so bland and bad that it’s not even worth discussing, really. And I say that as a person who called them my favorite band for a solid decade of life or so.

Thursday is a band I feel aged well for me. I've listened to them since I was like 12 and kinda young and shallow. When I was younger I didn't rly notice any sense of musicianship or lyricism or production or anything. I was just like yeah, black hair and feelings!!! And as I've gotten older I'm like oh wait they're actually really good. But I get why some don't like them

 

this is where it begins and ends for me with large segments of rock music lol

yeah, fallon released one decent album over a decade ago and now he gets a pass to make a bunch of mediocre, at best, albums just bc his lyrics are decent. just write a book instead, loser.

There’s a handful of Limp Bizkit songs that I still legitimately enjoy listening to
