I definitely feel this. I will without hesitation vote for any of the other dems but I’d have to think long and hard about Bloomberg. Don’t want to be part of diving America further into plutocracy

based on rhetoric alone, he’d prob be better than most of the other candidates on gun control and climate change and, that’s it. Not sure what the personal math is gonna be for people who actually vote on issues and not simply on “he’s moderate and that’s what we need!”

I know it was a bad meme four years ago to say that there was no different between Hillary and Trump but like I’m kind of struggling to come up with any meaningful differences between Hillary and Bloomberg

Bloomberg is a multi-billionaire and Hillary is not. That's a pretty meaningful difference.

I had my students take a political alignment quiz today. Upon finishing the quiz— all of them got a pop up asking them to sign up for Pete’s mailing list.

yeah but like...she would still have been operating with the interests of multi-billionaires in mind though, considering how much money she took from them

Bloomberg is to the left of her on gun control/climate change and probably to the right of her on everything else. That’s about it. She probably would be the better presidency for liberal domestic issues

They’re probably pretty identical on foreign policy/military interventions as well

good time to remind that because health insurance cost is tax deductible, there’s a solid chance they would not be getting $9800 in found wages if m4a was passed. Bernie’s bill does try to force companies to pass savings on to workers tho

On no planet am i voting in a race between Bloomberg and Trump. I can’t stand Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Biden etc but whatever, it’s just a vote and it takes like a second of my time when I’ll be in the ballot box to vote on local issues anyways. But if the election comes down to two racist billionaires, then I have 0 interest in engaging.
