I feel like you’ll find a video of most dems in the mid 2000s talking about a harder stance on immigration. That was just the mainstream view. Luckily times have changed

of course, it’s a good example of why Bernie is the best out of anyone

I posted this months ago and no one ever really responded but, if you're not gonna have open borders, you DO have to have some sort of immigration policy that will include deportations. There's just no getting around that. But the obvious solution is to increase the amount of legal immigrants naturalized every year.

Also have to remember that in the early-mid 2000s, there actually was a "crisis" of sorts at the border with like 1.5 million people crossing illegally every year for a bit there. It was a bit of a big deal at a the time and made everyone panic about border security, especially while still in the shadow of 9/11.

The smart move for any Dem that supported stronger border security back then would be to say "Yeah it seemed like a crisis at the time, but it turns out that we didn't build a wall, we didn't increase deportations of peaceful immigrants, and the problem died down by itself. It's basically the proof we need that you don't need to build a wall."

“The world is really screwed up right now. Right now our political orientations determine which fast-food chicken restaurant you go to? And that’s really dumb,” said Sweeney. “There’s no reason to drag divisive topics like that into gaming at all.”

Fair, if he doesn't want Fortnite to have politics that's fine. I don't see why he cares if other companies do it.

bleh, yeah. It bothers me that the Dems don’t seem to be doing the targeted digital ads as much

It's hard to keep up if someone can be swayed by something they see on tv or on social media that's bs, it's not like you get that volunteers number to text and ask if something is correct or not afterward. That being said, doing it is much better than not doing it. Also, there are too many asshole husbands out there who probably are maga and won't let you speak to their wives who usually vote dem, fuck them.

I gave that good green to Bernard last night and grabbed myself a yard sign and a bumper sticker.

Yep. Bernie and Warren need to have some "why would you run for President to do nothing" moments in the next debate
