Chorus.fm: bringing people together. I wasn't sure I'd ever find someone else who liked snacks.

 

we should have a meetup for everyone who likes snacks. i bet we could get 4 or 5 of us, eh?

 

i'm a huge softy (that's not just penis slang right? that also means that i'm an excessively empathetic person, but now it just sounds like i'm calling myself a half chub) so i always try to rationalize other people's actions. on one hand i do think it's a positive quality in that it makes me a conscientious person, but it definitely can make me too slow to call something out because i'm too busy coming up with excuses for them because i feel bad for them.

he's late on rent for multiple months - like several thousand in debt to us, which we only paid because we're on a shared lease so we were all threatened with eviction. his family life is shit, none of them have a lot of money, he's got bipolar disorder and his medication changes have been a huge stress for him (and the rest of us but obvs him the most)... basically he owes us a good amount of money, but hasn't been able to get a job or a loan and he's been so evasive, and we can't afford to let him live here on our costs so we need him to leave so we can find another tenant who can afford the rent. it sucks because he's been our good friend since freshman year, and i especially understand his struggle with family problems and mental illness, but our hands are like super fucking tied :(

 

Yeah that definitely sucks, because it's not like he's being a blatant asshole about it. It's definitely understandable that you have to kick him out though.

And by the way, I've never heard the word softy in relation to a penis, so that didn't come to mind until you brought it up haha

yep. i even sympathize with blatant assholes, it's the soc/psych interests in me where i'm like "but what led you to act in that manner and how cna we fix that?" blessing/curse.

omg well there i go talking about penises again for no reason hahaa

i'm trying to limit myself to one "sweet" thing per day, because i have a problem. today i decided it would be a good idea to have a cookie when i woke up, so now the rest of the day has sucked :(

Like if you go to Taco Bell you're not eating just one taco. You get like a loaded burrito with a taco on the side

And at more legit places a meal is two tacos plus sides

 

one taco as a meal? i'd still have hunger pains after one taco.

 

hmm. I only eat tacos my fam makes but my dad makes the taco shells so they're pretty flexible for extra filling purposes and then I load it up. Two tacos + sides sounds like so much to me but I guess I don't eat a lot at once. After the chips at Mexican restaurants I can barely finish half my meal which is ideal for delish leftovers!
