that's honestly a really good value in terms of content-per-dollar

 

Seems about what it’s worth. Original was fantastic until the first few updates that were ridiculously difficult for very little payout and not at all enjoyable. The second didn’t seem like an upgrade in the slightest.

I don't really see the point in a full revamp, I liked the whole concept of Anthem but was really disappointed. I think it would take a lot for me to get back into it.

BioWare should work on Dragon Age 4 a lot more instead.

 

They should honestly abandon it because even if the game in six months to a year from now becomes something good/great the name has been tainted so much that it has been practically ruined as a IP moving forward.

The gaming community has such a spiteful side to it that it's really just not worth the fight.

it’s going to flop super hard but I’ll have some fun with it.

 

I admire that both EA and BioWare are willing to say "we fucked up" and make a second run at it, but the Anthem brand name is just synonymous with failure now.

It's not like with Destiny where there was enough good that people were willing to give the franchise a chance to improve - the game didn't catch on, full stop. You're just going to be throwing more bad money after bad money.

(I'd love to find myself eating these words, of course.)
