All get out > microwave

 

Is Microwave a band that everybody loves all of a sudden? Because that track that's going around right now really reminds me of a very boring All Get Out.

 

I like both bands, but I think AGO has the upper hand. I think Movement is the best thing to offer from both bands, but Stovall is slightly better than The Season.

 

We've known there's an album coming in the fall, right? Didn't Thomas announce on an episode of Encore that Bad Timing was doing a sale to gather the capital to support the All Get Out release they were putting out? Or did I dream that?

I like Microwave better, but their new LP's could change that

that said, they're not really doing the same thing

 

I mean there's not really a competition (All Get Out all the way) but I do like Microwave. Stovall has some pretty great songs on it

 

Yeah this band has something special that I don't think Microwave has

 

I would suggest you guys listen to their songs in the Head North split - the potential on display is something else

 

All get out lyrics are way better

 

I like the vocals more too. No disrespect to Microwave, I do like them for what they are, just think AGO is better.

Movement might be the best EP of the decade so far

 

I love all the Movement praise even though I'm not that crazy about it.

Usually if I fall for something I fall hard. But yeah, this band has scratched an itch I've been having for rock music in this vein

 

I still really like SM! Just wasn't what I wanted from the band

 

Haha, part of it is that I just don't like this band at all.

Yeah I'm also gonna have to give them another go. Checked them out a few months back and wasn't into it, but all the talk about them in here is making me feel like I missed something.

 

I tried again today after saying eww @ them, but I still stand by my eww

 

People saying AGO is the new Brand New have me intrigued. I'm gonna give them another shot.

 

I meant the Brand New comment as in them having a fabled album that will never arrive (joking, of course). I remember last year when there was a lot of buzz of AGO coming out with a record at the end of 2015, and it was super likely, and then it was pushed to early this year, and then mid this year, then end of this year (with the possibility of it being next year). That's why I said they're the new Brand New.

However, some moments of Movement, while not necessarily Brand New-sounding, gives me Brand New vibes sometimes, like the intro to Orchestra.

 

All Get Out LP2 will come out when Brand New LP 6 comes.
