Yakuza is nothing like GTA

 

yakuza and sleeping dogs are so similar

they both have kareoke

 

Like they're so different they aren't even set in the same country

 

I have always heard nothing but good things about SD but I never played it

 

I still need to finish Sleeping Dogs but I was surprised how much I was enjoying it

just make sure you eat a pork bun though

Idk, the whole move to ‘combos’ and environment kills was so stupid to me. Like it become a gamification of itself? Bizarre

 

i always do this irl so it shouldn’t be a problem in-game

 

oh yeah I forgot about that. I didn’t hate it but I could do without a combo meter on screen.

 

It’s good. I don’t see some of the hype around it but if I had to compare it to something it would be True Crime. No worse, no better.

Sleeping Dogs is a very good GTA clone. Yakuza is nothing like GTA as mentioned earlier. I wish it would be more like GTA lol

I really need to get into Yakuza too. I have Kiwami from when it was free on PS+ but I want to play Zero first.

 

I wish it had cars lol

Though the last one was a big improvement with regards to how ”overworld” combat is handled

I get massive BioShock vibes omg. This is the kind of thing I’d have dreamt of as a sequel. Holy shit I pray this is good.
